Medication
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) recommends Medication Management training is refreshed annually to stay current with policies, procedures and techniques
Which course do I need?
It is recommended that Aged Care Workers, Community Care Workers, Disability Support Workers, Personal Care Workers and Respite Care Workers undertake the HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication course once and then maintain refresher training; this may be via our 100% online Medication Management course, our Non Accredited Medication Management Course or an in-house medication training and assessment with a Registered Nurse at your workplace. If a worker undertakes the 100% online course, each couple of years a face to face assessment with a Nurse should be included.
